Still waters run deep…
Tommy’s been away from his home in rural Somerset for three years. Long enough to sort out who he is, and to get over the feelings of confusion and shame that blighted his lifelong friendship with farmer’s boy Rob. He’s out and proud, now—and he’s coming home to claim back what he lost.
Rob’s the one who stayed behind, working on the farm with little time for a social life. With Tommy coming back into his world, he could have a lot to gain—and everything to lose.
He’s going to have to take a leap of faith. Straight into the ice cold waters of Quarry Lake.

Perhaps a few minor "spoilers" in the review below :-{I really like books that involve a lot of M/M skinny dipping! They bring back old memories that mean a lot to me.
Tommy and Rob had been "best friends" for years but Tommy, with his internalized homophobia, messed things up when the guys were skinny-dipping at Quarry Lake. Tommy left for Uni but he soon realized whom he'd left behind and so returns to his small hometown in hopes that he can make things right with Rob.
And he DOES make things right - perhaps a bit too easily. I know it's a short story but I would have liked a bit more "depth."
I do have to say that Rob's farmer father was truly a great and understanding guy! As were the people at the Inn Tommy had gone to work for when he returned.
A really good story.

This was a sweet little story about two lifelong friends who found their way back to each other in quarry lake.
I so enjoyed this great story. It keep me turning the pages to see what was next!
5Stars+ for this Author and Book! This was a very cute short story . Cute mat not be the word, I'd say wonderful short but, sexy, romantic and memorable! Reminded me of our old swimming pond, it was really a hole but not as big as a quarry, it was where the farmer who owned the property got water for his sprayers and he let the locals swim there. As a kid we loved it, that's why this book was so great for me, whose were the days. You really are a great Author, so glad I found You. So Many Thanks, Barbara M. 📚💙🎶
